Community Guidelines
Effective October 21, 2026
Every account is one verified real person. These rules keep it a place where real people can share real perspectives safely. They apply everywhere: profiles, posts, comments, direct messages, calls, live rooms, groups and creator communities, including subscriber-only content. They're part of our Terms.
1. Be yourself
- One person, one account. Don't create a second account or share, sell or lend yours. Duplicate accounts are denied or banned.
- No impersonation. Don't pretend to be another person, brand or organization. Clearly labeled parody or fan accounts run by you, under your own verified account, are fine.
- No fake engagement: no bots, automation or coordinated schemes to inflate follows, reactions or reach.
- Adults only. The Service is for people 18 and over. Don't let a minor use your account.
2. Respect other people
Not allowed:
- harassment and bullying, including repeated unwanted contact and pile-ons;
- threats, or encouraging violence against anyone;
- hate speech: attacking people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, serious illness, age or immigration status;
- doxxing: sharing someone's private information, like a home address, ID documents or financial details, without consent;
- intimate images of anyone shared without their consent, including AI-made or altered images ("deepfakes");
- recording or re-sharing calls or live rooms without everyone's consent;
- encouraging or glorifying self-harm or suicide. If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 in the U.S.
Debate is welcome. Criticizing ideas, institutions and public figures' public conduct is fine; attacking people for who they are isn't.
3. Child safety: zero tolerance
We have zero tolerance for anything that sexualizes, exploits or endangers a minor, including child sexual abuse material, grooming and sexualized images of minors, whether real, drawn or AI-generated. We remove it, terminate the account and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as U.S. law requires.
When something is reported under Child safety, it's hidden and the reported account is locked straight away while a person reviews it, and the records are preserved as the law requires. Today, member reports and our own review are how we find this content; uploads aren't scanned automatically yet. You can also report directly to NCMEC's CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
4. Sexual content and nudity
Sexually explicit content, pornography and sexual services aren't allowed anywhere, including subscriber-only communities, live rooms and calls. Non-sexual nudity in a health, medical, educational or breastfeeding context may stay up.
5. Illegal and dangerous activity
Not allowed:
- anything illegal where you or your audience are;
- selling or promoting illegal drugs, weapons, explosives, or other regulated goods such as cannabis, tobacco, vapes, alcohol and prescription drugs;
- supporting terrorism or violent extremist groups;
- human trafficking or exploitation;
- fraud and scams: phishing, pyramid or Ponzi schemes, fake giveaways, investment scams, counterfeit goods;
- instructions for seriously harming people or breaking into accounts;
- gambling, betting or lotteries.
6. Spam, SENSE and manipulation
- No spam: repetitive, bulk or unwanted posts, messages, follows or invites.
- No misleading links, malware or phishing.
- No buying, selling or trading SENSE or accounts for money or anything of value, and no schemes that promise financial returns.
- No getting around identity verification, bot protection, limits or moderation.
7. Copyright and trademarks
Only post what you own or have permission to use. See our Copyright Policy. We end the accounts of repeat infringers.
8. Harmful false information
Don't share content that is clearly false and likely to cause real-world harm, such as false information about how, when or where to vote, dangerous health claims, or media edited to deceive. Label realistic AI-made or heavily edited images of real people.
9. Creator communities
Creators must describe their community honestly, deliver what they advertise, only charge for content they have the rights to, and follow these rules in subscriber-only content too. See the Creator Terms.
10. Private spaces
Don't screenshot, record or share other people's direct messages or private-space contributions to harass, shame or expose them.
11. Reporting
Use the Report option (the flag icon) on a post, comment, direct message, profile, creator community or live room, or email support@thecollectiveperspective.com. Choose a reason (child safety, harassment, spam or scam, impersonation, violence or threats, copyright, or something else) and add details if you like. A person reviews every report. Reports are confidential: we don't tell the reported person who reported them. For intimate images shared without consent, report them or email legal@thecollectiveperspective.com; we remove valid requests within 48 hours. In an emergency, call 911.
12. Enforcement
Depending on how serious it is and past history, we may remove or limit content, warn you, limit features (posting, messaging, live rooms, creator payouts), lock an account while we review it, or suspend or ban the account. Because every account is one verified person, a ban applies to the person, and our duplicate checks stop them coming back. Child exploitation, credible threats and trafficking lead to an immediate ban and may be reported to the authorities.
13. Appeals
If you think we got it wrong, email support@thecollectiveperspective.com within 30 days with your handle and what happened. A person who wasn't part of the original decision, where possible, will review it and reply.
14. Changes
We may update these guidelines as the community grows, and we'll change the date at the top when we do.
