Creator Terms

Effective October 21, 2026

Creators keep 100%: 0% platform fee; Stripe card fees apply. These terms apply if you run a paid creator community. They add to our Terms, Community Guidelines and Privacy notice, and win if they conflict on creator matters.

1. Who can be a creator

You must be a verified member in good standing, 18 or older, living in a country where Stripe lets us set up a creator account for you (not a country where the Service is unavailable), and set up and keep your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect, passing Stripe's checks. You're independent, not our employee, agent or partner.

2. Pricing

You set a monthly price between $1 and $999 in USD, a price in SENSE, or both, and subscribers choose. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. If you change your price, tell your subscribers before it applies to them.

3. Payments and payouts

  • USD: subscribers pay you directly on your own Stripe account (a direct charge). You're the seller. We charge a 0% platform fee. Stripe's own fees (card processing, and any payout, currency or dispute fees) come out of your payments under Stripe's terms.
  • Payouts go from Stripe to your bank on Stripe's schedule. We don't hold your money, and we're not responsible for Stripe's own holds, reviews or delays.
  • SENSE: SENSE you're paid lands in your SENSE wallet. You can use it on the Service, but SENSE has no cash value and can't be cashed out or paid to your bank.
  • Screening: we screen creators against U.S. OFAC sanctions lists before payout setup; a possible match pauses payouts until we review it.
  • You accept Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and Services Agreement directly with Stripe.
  • If we ever introduce a platform fee, we'll update these terms and give you advance notice first.

4. Payout holds

If your account is locked for a safety review, suspended or banned, we may ask Stripe to pause your payouts (or hold them manually) until the review is finished, and we may stop new subscriptions to your community. Funds tied to fraud, chargebacks or illegal activity may be handled as Stripe and the law require.

5. Taxes

You're responsible for the taxes on your creator income. Stripe may send you tax forms, such as a Form 1099-K, as the law requires. We don't give tax advice.

6. Refunds and chargebacks

Creator subscriptions aren't refundable unless the law requires it. If we cancel a subscriber's subscription (for example when they delete their account), it simply stops renewing. Chargebacks on your USD subscriptions are handled in your Stripe account and you bear the resulting losses and fees. SENSE paid through a charged-back payment is reversed.

7. Your content and prohibited content

  • You own your content and are responsible for it, including having every right and consent you need, including from anyone who appears in it.
  • Deliver what you advertise and describe your community honestly. Follow advertising-disclosure, consumer-protection and privacy laws.
  • Not allowed in communities: sexually explicit content or sexual services; anything involving minors in a sexual or exploitative way; illegal goods or services; gambling; investment or get-rich schemes; content you don't have rights to; and anything Stripe restricts or prohibits. Everything in the Community Guidelines applies to subscriber-only content too.
  • You may use subscriber information only to run your community. Don't sell it, export it or spam subscribers.

8. Live rooms

You're responsible for moderating rooms you host. Rooms and calls aren't recorded.

9. Enforcement and closing your community

We may hide or remove your community or content, or stop you running a community, if you break these terms, our Terms, the Community Guidelines or Stripe's rules, or after valid legal complaints. Where practical and lawful, we'll tell you why and how to appeal. If a community is closed, by you or us, its subscriptions are cancelled and won't renew. To close your community, email support@thecollectiveperspective.com.

10. No guarantees

We don't guarantee any number of subscribers or any income, or that creator features will always be available. The disclaimers, limits of liability, release, indemnity, one-year claim limit and individual-claims-only terms in our Terms apply to creators too. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost subscriber income, Stripe payout holds, delays or account decisions, or for taxes you owe, and you indemnify us for claims arising from your community, your content and your dealings with subscribers. You're responsible for following the laws, tax rules and consumer rules where you and your subscribers live.
