Dating Terms and safety tips

1. Who can use Dating

Only verified, paid members aged 18 or older who choose to turn Dating on. Your age is based on your verified ID. You can turn Dating off at any time, and your dating profile is then hidden.

2. AI matching

Dating uses an outside AI provider (currently Google's Gemini API) to compare what you write under "This is what I'm looking for" and in your dating profile with other members' profiles, in both directions, to suggest likely matches and a short reason. Only dating-profile text is sent, not your name, email or ID details. AI suggestions can be wrong; they're not a judgment about anyone, and you always decide who to like. Please don't include sensitive details, such as health information, in your dating profile.

3. Rules

• Be honest about who you are and what you're looking for. Use recent photos of yourself only.
• No sexually explicit photos or content, no soliciting or offering sexual services, and no requests for money.
• Respect a "no" or an unmatch. Don't keep contacting someone who isn't interested.
• Anyone who tries to contact a minor through Dating is banned and reported to the authorities.

4. Safety tips

• Keep conversations on the Service until you're comfortable, and never send money or financial details to someone you've met online.
• Meet in a public place, tell a friend where you'll be, and arrange your own transport.
• Verification confirms a member is a real, adult person; it doesn't vouch for their behavior. Trust your instincts.
• Report anything that worries you with the Report option, or email support@thecollectiveperspective.com. If you're in danger, call 911.
